We wanted to have a quiet early casual dinner on Christmas Eve. Push Cart has beautiful views of the cliffs, sunsets and...You can watch all the drunk silly party goers on their sail boats. Portions were quite small at Push Cart though. Food is fresh and well made. Negril, Jamaica Day 6

This is the day for our rural Jamaica excursion. Up early as usual. Since we were planning to go all the way to YS(Yates & Scott) Falls it was important to leave early to beat the bus loads of tourists. We had organized a driver for 200 US$ for the day trip. Reach Savannah-la-Mar(commonly known as Sav-la-Mar, the capital of Westmoreland Parish) for breakfast at local eatery: a local breakfast place equivalent to McDonald's. Delicious! There's one of the oldest schools in Jamaica here in Sav-la-Mar. There's no secondary or higher education for the public that's free. Also, based on how you score at the end of your primary education you are assigned to a school somewhere. It's up to the parents to find means to send the child everyday to school. Most often school kids take taxi cabs to school and back. Sometimes two taxi cabs one way costing up to 400 JA$ per day. and Tuition for one subject in high school per year i 5000 JA$. There's no F...
