Back to the exciting sensory overload of a city, Bangkok! Day 13: Bangkok Time to bid good bye to beautiful Krabi. How many days should we stay in Bangkok? We decided to allocate the first half of the Bangkok stay to explore and experience the old city and the latter half of the Bangkok stay to celebrate the New Year amongst the hustle and bustle of the Central World which is the Bangkok's equivalent of Times Square in New York. Day 1 in Bangkok We arrived at the wee hours of December 18, 2017 to a hassle free Suvarnabhoomi International Airport. Having only the cabin luggage made it even more joyful. Out in a taxi to Inn A Day in the old city where the most pleasant group of staff was waiting for us to open up our unit with beautiful views of the Wat Arun on the banks of Chao Phraya River.
