Arugam Bay
These pictures were taken in the quaint town of Arugam Bay in the far Eastern coast of Sri Lanka in December of 2011. World renown surfing during the season. December, waters were rough and was the off-season for surfing here. The huge lagoon. The main road heading north cuts through it. Water Buffalo and various species of cranes and pelicans living in harmony. Pictures of beautiful golden sand fisherman's village in Arugam Bay Dry fish and rock sugar vendors setting stand early in the morning. An early morning catch !
