Day 6: Kiyomizu-dera | Fushimi Inari Lot of walking today. Fuel up  at the hotel first. Breakfast with Kiwi Cider and Grapefruit Cider The plan for the morning half was to explore old Kyoto neighborhood, hike from Hōkanji Temple (Yasaka-no-Tou) to Kiyomizu-dera and back to the hotel, The Royal Park  Kyoto Sanjo. Hokan-ji Temple is known colloquially as Yasaka-no-to (Yasaka Pagoda). It is a 46-meter tall pagoda with graceful, sloping roofs on each tier, which lies in the middle of the old Kyoto neighborhood. Worshipers write their wish on colorful ball called “kukurizaru” and hang them at the site. Kukurizaru is the round, ball shaped talisman made of cloth, representing the good faith monkeys.
